Short update: I bought me the EBC yellow stuff brake pads for my SSBC force 10 kit as the Hawk pads cost roughly 50% more here in Germany. Even though I drove only 15mls today and the brake-in procedure is not finished I can say right now that it is a huge improvement over the SSBC pads! Next step is to play with the prop valve. Maybe I see the same results as Ron.
