And of course companies pay to have their belts approved by SFI, if they didn't, who is going to buy them, seeing they wouldn't be legal anywhere.

The IHRA doesnt hold to the 9.99 for the license.. but they pretty much else follow the NHRA rule book.. I would basically say they did that because it was there and already in effect... and yes ANY of them could and CAN say something else
