The SRT apron is the support structure for the strut towers. It sits about midway under the fender. The close out panel I built attaches to it further in and provides the mount for the fender (the pic with the cardboard template). This works well, as I will be able to attach the SRT splash shield in the wheel well to the Road Runner fender.
