I have more than a few other engine builders who can't wrap their head around the fact that mild low lift engines and lift rule class engines that run roller rockers are actually the worst for geometry issues. They will float the valves faster than a more radical combination and usually end up with too much spring and flat lobes. It is important in every high performance engine. That's my opinion based on testing and the laws of physics. You said you wanted to hear more.
