Finally, alas, there is one in every crowd, every Mopar race, every Friday night test and tune. That beautiful restoration, that muscle car that looks the part in every detail...then can't get out of it's own way. I don't mean to cast aspersions at Walter Bashford or his gorgeous Plum Crazy 69 Charger! With the black vinyl roof, white R/T butt stripe, and rallye wheels, it was truly a stunning car. I never looked under the hood, so I have no idea if it was a cloned 318 2 BBL car or a full on 440 4bbl, but the performance certainly did not give a hint either way.
