reading this, just like last years "experience" thread, makes me wish HotRod would come calling on the Northwest. This event seems to be the experience of a lifetime for us hotrod guys. I can't help but think that Woodburn, Bremerton, Pacific, and Spokane are situated in locations that would be perfect for something like this....... And that my Satellite is right in the wheelhouse of being a suitable weapon of choice for this sort of flogging. Questionable part is: Do I have what it would take to pound out a week like this???? Man, I'd like to find out.

I've been threatening to try and organize something similar recently, problem being it has to be pretty much in the sweet spot of the season as our weather is so unpredictable, and finding more willing participants.... But I'd love to do it.

I am in if you can pull it off, Andrew. Weather is always a question mark up here, but Aug. & early Sept. are usually pretty reliable. I would think that getting the backing of a magazine publisher is the only way it would pick up steam. HotRod does the big boy in the south, perhaps their sister publication, CarCraft, would be willing to look at a west coast version. Hell, I'd even trailer to Cali to participate in something like this. Start writing letters, my friend. You guys should take this campaign on..... Not sure if Dustin's in rebuild mode yet, but perhaps spearheading a project like this is suitable to take his spare time these days??

Just sayin'....

I would be interested in it as well, and yep,Car Craft might be up for that, they do the Anti Tour out here as well,,I've gone on that the last four years. The guys from CC that run that are John McGann and Douglas Glad, both are very cool guys,we have a great time every year.
The biggest problem out here is the lack of tracks,at least down here in SoCal,,I've always wanted to see the Pacific Northwest,no way better way than with a bunch of car nuts right?
Of course,we'd have to have Billy along telling the story!
