Guys, I am in the middle of lowering an 87 Dodge shortbed of a friend of mines and I am running into tie rod troubles. I used the Rockauto B100 3300lb LCA and got the steering arms from a 95 van in the junkyard. We also cut 1/2 a coil from the springs. The problem is that the tie rod is VERY close to the strut rod. Does anyone have a better pic of what the correct steering arms look like? The pictures don't really show them very well - I wonder if I have the wrong ones. Moving the tie rod to the top of the steering arms would solve the clearance problem but I don't want to make a bump steer issue. We also do not have the engine in the truck at this time - getting a 440 ready to swap in place of the old 6 cyl. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark J
