The board is secured to the base. I can't remove it without being destructive. There are a few pins poking through the board. Some round clips were pressed in then covered with epoxy to guarantee nothing moves. There are a few black square components under the board that appear to have been epoxied to the case as well.
They really didn't want this thing to be opened up.
