I fully understand 318Racer's desire to build something challenging, there's nothing wrong with that, but you have to ready yourself for some serious disappointment if it doesn't run the numbers after spending all this money.
There are very few stock'ish motors that run like Qwkmopardan, and I believe B3422W5 runs in the 11.20's with his 323" motor but it was well sorted out in the engine masters program if I remember correctly.
My 346" motor in my 3200 pound scamp only went 11.70's with stage2 Eddy heads and Ross dome pistons, it was a street car with mechanical water pump and fan but it still had 4.56 gears and trapped at 7200.
I switched to a 400 block and 440 crank(451)and went 9.80's and had alot more fun for the money.
You might be able to do alot of homework and get all the right parts and make the 10.70's happen but it won't be easy. twocents
