I believe that he and I have been tapping into some of the same sources (people & web sites) to improve our understanding of performance carb tuning. I'm glad to hear he's seeing positive results from his work. I'll have more data from my own stuff when (ever?) my junk is running again.
In the mean time, I've lent my carbs out to a couple of people to try so I know if they're "close" when I use 'em myself, and have been told they ran well. One person even admitted my carb ran better than his own, so after testing mine for me, he went back into his to work on it more.
