Interesting reading..... I’ve noted at work over the past 3 years the snowbird crowd has been going to the 6.4. In talking with customers it’s the usual.... mpg sucks, don’t get in hurry, but overall most are satisfied with their purchase. No def, no fuel filters every 15k, huge savings at purchase. I think technology/pricing is finally catching up to the diesel market. I’ve thought the 6.4 might be a viable option if I were to ever “upgrade” my pickup..... but more than likely we’ll try ride the ole 01 to the end. We’re currently 18700lb combined and I live at 500ft and have to climb 3500 to get out of town so the terrain is not friendly by any means. Funny how I’m seeing fewer and fewer 2nd gens at the track... I’m almost at that “antique” cool stage!
