Just adding that my car is somewhere in the 1050-1100 hp range and has a 727. Good steel planetary setup, billet steel drum, and a bolt in sprag. That's about it. It's held up so far. 8.90s at 150 mph at 3900 lbs.
If/when it breaks, I'll be pricing my options.
Are using a Transbrake??
No. The trans has a brake in it, but I don't use it. Always footbraked the car.
