I'm with AWBDART on this one, I've build & raced several 440 A bodies, do they run good, yeah, are they cheap, Ah no, I've seen several so-so non stroked 340/360 A bodies spank mild 440 A bodies , I know of MANY mild 11 second SB A bodies out there on pump gas, 360 parts are way cheaper then 440 parts, most are damn near as cheap as a 350 chevy, The illness of the SB was (other then the W2s) were the crappy "yes i said crappy" earlier open chambered iron heads, The newer magnum style are so much better, When i had my junkyard 360 magnum in my dart, I had a total of 1800.00 in it, that was with a brand new set of 850.00 RHS heads & the 300.00 i paid for the engine, small re-ground cam & a knock off RPM intake. I drove that car to the track every weekend (100 mile round trip) & ran 12.5s all night on 87 octane, hardly any stall or gears (11" 2800 PTC & 3.73s), I easally could have put that car in the 12.2s with a 4.30 gear & a 3800 9.5" & still drove it there, I had a guy racing his rebuilt 446 dart accuse me of running nitrous because i ran exactly what he did in his 72 dart, he didn't understand it , I've had a few SB A bodies in the past, I love my BBs, but from now on i'll stick with a SB for my A body, Magnum of coarse. If you look at the one video in my sig., I raced a 69 Yenko 427 camaro, those cars were fast, he ran 12.4s too my 12.5s, he came & chit chatted with me & was highly impressed when i told him what i had, he thought for sure i had a BB
