Its a tough call. There are good arguments both ways. But in the end I wish we would have lowered the weights for our race. It might would have brought a few more cars in . If its a series with multiple races then you need all kinds of rules and different weight amounts for different combos. But for a one time race or to try and get something going it needs to be a lower weight so everyone can get there. Every outlaw type race that I have ever raced at had BB power adder cars at 3000#. We went with 3300# on our race just because the majority of the cars were overweight anyway and that seemed to be what everyone wanted. Do what you want but at least lower it to 3200 or so for BB power adder. I do think 3400 is way too much.
