I would think the brutal low end torque, of a crank driven blower, would play directly into the hands of a glide. I'm too tired to check, what is the starting line ratio of a typical glide, versus the 2.10 ratio that you are using?

Hmmm maybe i am doing it all wrong and should put a glide in

It seems the strongest aftermarket gear set is a 1.80 for the glide.

Now if all your worried about is bracket racing go get that glide but if you are looking to go fast in the 1/4 more gears always seems to win out. Keeping the engine in its happy spot will do more for a low ET than a big RPM drop.

My car?
As for getting off the starting line and getting down the track there are many ways to do that. BUT the biggest problem that everybody seems to miss is the rpm drop between the gear changes with a blower car. the less drop the boost stays...

Like i said it all depends on your combo and goals.
