I think 4.56's would be ideal for this engine, with a trap rpm of 7600+ that would take advantage of the acceleration early like the class cars do. However, with as many runs as I make I don't like the idea of leaning on it that hard. Someone else can have that honor and the glory.

Would be fun to put this engine in a lighter car. In bench racers theory, a <2800# car, 904 trans and more rear gear should be capable of high 8's


I am close to pulling the trigger on one of these. My Cuda weighed 3250 with an iron block Hemi and alum heads. Never got to weigh it qith the all alum 605 in it, but it felt lighter than anything else I have run in it...Figure one of these would put to 3100 or so....That little engine would run pretty good in my junker at that weight.

What compression is yours?
