All I know is that I had an unmachined R3 and a bare 5.7 block side by side. My back would tell you that the 5.7 was pretty close to the R3 weight. 15 to 25 lbs difference. Matt
My machinist commented multiple times about how heavy my 5.7 block was. I'm not expecting much difference.
