For those of you deep into a project with no light at the end of the tunnel other than the train try this. Just get it running, don't worry about anything else but making the engine run, that always helps motivation when you can start the thing up and hear it roar.
Exactly what I just did. Car isn't close to done, but engine just needed minor finishing touches. Now I have some renewed energy to get back on the car.
