Most of the Drag Week guys drive on pump gas and carry fuel for the track. I know the guys from Canada with the Vette drive that car everywhere on pump swill and that is a 14.1 race motor. They put C-23 in it for the track. Think they brought 20 gallons of race fuel.

As for arguing the point about state laws........that ONLY matters if you live there. My car is legal in my state, that's all that counts. Not like another state is going to write me a ticket because I don't have a defroster when I drive through there, nor will my car have to pass a sniff test to be allowed in California if I choose to drive it there.

So gdonovan, are you telling that if I live in your state, I can't tag a sand rail type rig, or a T-bucket, an older classic, street rod, or some other such vehicle because it doesn't have a defroster..........ummm, OK.

I didnt go last year but the year before there was a
couple of guys hauling at least 1 drum of fuel...
you are correct.. all you have to do is pass what
is legal in the state that the car is registered in..
any other state doesnt matter
EDIT
I dont have a defoster in my Rampage other than a
portable unit that plugs into the cig lighter... I
have a heater unit but I havent put it in yet
