finally finished tear down - source of the issue(s) is #4 main bearing spun. Oil Passages are clear so either it got run out of oil or clearance was too tight on the mains. main spun, material sent to #6 and 7 rods, crap in those rod bearings, sent into bore, picked up by rear 4 pistons and dragged around. all other journals look ok. Will have to have crank ground on main journals, polish on rod journals, block checked and line bored as needed and 8 new pistons. might also need one intake valve along with corresponding rocker that looks like it mushroomed the valve tip a little or might clean up on the grinder.
