Now that you have the spring installed . . . here is how to adjust the throttle rod going to the transmission . . . it was said earlier, open the carb all the way, so the throttle is wide open. Then you need to adjust the throttle rod going to the transmission so it is all the way back (or almost), then tighten the bolt down (the one where the slot is on the throttle rod going to the transmission). That should do it for you . . .
