FWIW, if that's the way your car sits, IMO you're going to have to "crutch" the setup at the strip by putting on some big bias-ply slicks / MT ET Streets that will be less chassis-sensitive to hooking up than a DOT radial like an ET Street Radial.

Re: belt throwing... ya' got me. I run stock pulleys and have never had a problem even up to 7000.
