You just want the tach for the correct period look,,right? I would say any of them would fit the criteria. As far as actually using a tach to shift with,,,I always remember a friend of mine's reply, who was also a low-buck bracket racer, when I asked him "why don't you have a tach in your car?"...He said....."If Butch Leal don't need one,, I %#@&^*% sure don't need one!"
P.S. I DO use one.. I believe the cable drive tach would be the best.
