I took a portable radio in 2012 on my first drag week. The car had flowmasters then and at one point when we were running 4000RPM on I-40 trying not to get run over you couldn't even hear it. The exhaust is quieter now but we never carried the radio again. I'd always be turning it down thinking I heard something anyways lol.
