"IF" it just not seated and there are still splines left, try welding a length of threaded rod on the nut and using a slide hammer try and seat the stud? Put two nuts on the threaded rod first just in case it works so you can jam them together to turn off the nut. If it's all stripped and/or wallowed out this won't work though. Just a thought?
