If you think the car will handle more starting line ratio in low gear look at changing that ratio to a lower ratio, IE from 2.45 to 2.73 or whatever gear set you can find and like That lets the car cruise better on the streets also I've done that in the past both ways, higher and lower, to help the traction on the starting line, test, test and tests some more IHTHs
