I had all my cars with state farm and am slowly moving away from them. Service has gone down hill after the Canadian side was taken over by others.
I had an accident a few years ago in a flash ice storm and the claims adjuster essentially screwed up and sent a check for thousands less then the agreed upon price then tried to cover her tracks She dragged it on for weeks before I was finally able to get in touch with a manager and it was resolved pretty quickly.
Then another policy skyrocketed. You could even see checking thru the policies when the screw up took place. They took the reimbursement for not having full coverage on a vehicle for 6 months and added it on top of the annual policy price the following year. They admitted there was a problem and the price was too high yet at the same time used every excuse they could think of to explain it. That was the first policy I cancelled and moved on to another company.
