I was under a 2006 Ford Ranger 4x4 they other day when I noticed it also has a torsion bar suspension.

As do late model Chevy trucks and a few other light duty SUVs. There is no shortage of t-bar manufacturers with the proliferation of t-bars in newer vehicles. Problem is getting them to tool up a bar specific to a vintage Mopar.

Yes my 2007 Suburban has them too but they are too long, the ranger ones seemed to be the correct length for B/E-Bodys. That's why they caught my attention. Most likely cheap at wrecking yards and if you machine them anyhow to fit the socket you could adjust the clocking as well. If I didn't already spring for 1.120" I would give it a try. Also I wonder if thicker ones are available for different sized engines?

The Ford bars are used in a variety of cars: Rangers, Explorer etc. The spring rates are different (Rangers could come with 3 different spring rates) between models and engines.
Are the hexes offset?
