Factory was gloss, but keep in mind, single stage enamel does not offer the "shine" that a base clear does, but only one is "correct", choose whichever suites your tastes. Also, for 340 Dusters with the V24 hood blackout, the upper door frames (coded 5X8) were painted in a unique low gloss charcoal finish to compliment the matte finish blackout on the tops of the outsides of the doors.
