My guess would be NO. I haven't been looking, but my guess is that it wouldn't be too simple to find a 40+ year old 383 that didn't need to be overbored. The deck height advantage of the 68-69 383 comes from the compression height of the piston. Therefore, as soon as you bore the block you are in the market for new aftermarket slugs, none of which are made with a 1.932" compression height. As far as I know, closest thing you can get are the Sealed Power 2315s, which are at 1.920".

Seems to me like the "simple" thing would be to have the block machined to get the zero or positive deck height you are looking for, but who knows, maybe there is an endless supply of low mile 68-69 383 shortblocks where you live.

Going my route, you would also be able to square up your block to ensure consistent deck heights for each cylinder, which would probably not be the case for an untouched factory block.
