Thanks Greg, Yes I am going with a 383, I picked one up a couple of years ago, date coded but not an HP because the a.c. cars didn't use the HP blocks. I'm not sure if I am going to install a.c. on it, in fact I seriously doubt it. They say these cars are only original once and this one is obviously far from it. I was even going to replace the firewall with the one I got from that doner Coronet without the a.c. cut outs but I think I decided I better not, who knows what I might do in the future?. I did pick up this intake and carbs for it though, B engine 6 barrel with `70 carbs on it ready to go, in the picture that hardware is sitting on top of the 340 in my project Challenger.
