Thanks, that is a great idea!. I figure those doors that came on the car really weren't worth reusing but will always have a spot on the wall in my shop.
This is the doner section almost ready for installation. I cut all of the stuff off that I didn't need and cleaned it up really well and used weld through primer in all of the joints.
I was able to sell off parts from that doner piece and even sold a few things that I removed from my car to further offset the cost of the parts. In all I ended up spending about $600.00 for a rust-free lower rear clip. I would have spent 3K with AMD to get those parts and they still would have been a mind-numbing pile of parts in need of assembly.
