Hook up with the NHRA Chassie Roll Bar person and have him come over to look at the car. Dont paint until you talk to this person. Bars needs plates to be welded to and the plates need to be welded to the car.These places are 6 inches of flat surface. Also one other car we race has a side swing out and has a 850 tag and goes 880s. This car is a Joe Smith Built car so it passes tech with flying colors, and every NHRA tech guy reconizes his work. If you plan on only racing your car a few times at the track all this work could be for not much. You can always rent the track with friends and have fun testing without to many eyeing your times after each pass.
