Absolutely make it the best you can with todays technology. Back in 1973 my Challenger ran high nines and that was with a crap roll cage with no side bars. They were the rules. As things began to happen with safety and back then there was very little when it comes to safety or even chassis technology things finally started to change. My Challenger did not even have frame connectors. Like said by Cudaman 1969, you do not want to test out your roll cage. The Cuda we are building has all the safety technology that 2023 can give to a car. Old crap roll bar is gone, old crap frame connectors are gone, Cuda ran 930s in 1972 in Pro Stock and even faster in C/Altered in 73 74 75 and the owner wants to be safe having another car that runs 8.90s and rides the rear wheels well into secod gear, correction via Cab.
