It is very depressing to look at how racing and leisure activities of all kinds, hunting, fishing, golfing, etc took a death blow after 2008.
I have news for you. Things have not been the same since 9/11/01. Peoples attitudes were changed. Things are better now, but we're still fighting these battles, both internal and external. No one knows what to expect from one election to the next. Anyone who's just clicking along unconcerned about any of it, has managed to stay blissfully ignorant.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
