Not intending to take away from the OP... but what advantages are there to this "Type II" ps pump?
How does it compare to a desired Saginaw pump that has proper response to quick demand L/R/L/R/ hi-rpm power assist (whereby the Federal ps pump does not)?
Is there a Type II ps pump available for SB engines?
These are the pump the late model circle track cars use.
Some stock setups have aluminum pumps cases

And aftermarket offers many in aluminum cases with variations in pump psi and flow. And IIRC there are kits to change psi and/or flow.
Look at the KRC line.
Also, you can run remote reservoirs. And mount them low.
But bummer, I don’t know of a Small Block Mopar bracket setup for a LA small block.
