I bought these brackets from Andy, he said they probably wouldn't work with a motor plate but I wanted to try it anyways.
I had to cut the ear off the rear bracket, I cut it on the dotted line in the photo. I drilled a 5/16 hole in the bracket to bolt it to my motor plate.
Everything was looking great until I realized my bulky Mezeire electric water pump was gonna interfere with the belt.
So I moved the pump over and down, and mounted it straight to the motor plate, and flipped the rear bracket around so it was aimed at the driver side of the car.
I slotted the that hole in the motor plate where the rear bracket bolts to the plate, so that it can move when the belt tension is being adjusted. I think it's gonna work great.
