I have a small, oval track style pump similar to the KRC unit linked above. I was able to utilize some stock SB brackets by modifying the bends slightly and adding a spacer behind the backing bracket. I have a divorced reservoir sitting on the inner fender. I've contemplated adding a cooler to it as well as all I need is the cooler and more hose and ends.

I don't think it would be a big stretch to figure out what else needed to be added to set a type 2 pump above the pump. In fact, I'd bet if you mock it up using some scrap steel welded together, you could take the completed unit to a local oval track fab shop with punch/laser/brake capability and have them make a fancy looking, single piece copy of your mock up. you could get it powdercoated or chromed, or if made from aluminum, anodized. Viola, fancy bracket. you might even be able to sell 3, or 4 to offset some of the cost.
