Those poly ones that I tried did not use the sleeves. They fit in the open arm just like they come and the pin slips back in. The ones I tried squeaked badly so I pulled mine back out. I was told later they needed to be greased. Keep in mind that if you or the guy before hacked up the smooth surface of either the pin or the lower arm, you need to smooth it out or you will wear out the bushing fast because it will turn slightly with the poly. I never use a torch or chisel on my arms and have removed hundreds of them. Of coarse I'm not a line mechanic trying to see how fast I can take them out to beat the book time either. I've seen some hacked up suspension parts in my day. I press the pin and rubber out first and then cut a groove in the inner sleeve till it gets thin enough to collapse the sleeve on itself gently with a hand chisel. You only have to go about half way down. A cutoff wheel takes the sleeve off the pin.
