Not the Thumper that seems to live on simplicity, grade 5 main bolts that have lasted 60 years, an 8 3/4 with 1.6 million miles before his abuse started, head gaskets made from matchbook covers and he laughs at people who needlessly spend money on real performance parts. Roller lifters that have lasted 4x times longer on the street then others that defy logic ect......... Just being silly here.
Your motor might laugh, but dead hook your braced 8 3/4 with an added 250 lbs of torque at your current power level and it might not be happy.
Hope it works for you without eating alot of parts.
All in fun and I would grab it in second and hang on............NO desire to get crazy(er) and become a full time nos guy but want the "just in case" the need arises and the 8 3/4 would spit it's guts out or at least that`s what I read/heard..........
