you waste your time reading a plug that been idled.
Here is what i recommend to the OP.. I take two extra (used) plugs and the socket wrench in the car with me when i make a pass and need to check plugs..
click it off after the stripe..
coast off the track pop the hood. and pull a plug from #1 and #7. replace with the used plugs.
drive back to pits and read the plugs in your hand.
tune accordingly.
then install two fresh plugs in 1 and 7 make a new pass..and repeat.
a box of 8 plugs will get you four passes to tune on..instead of using 24 new plugs in every hole..for the same 4 passes..
when you get it where you think its working...then i pull all 8 at the end of the track to make sure all 8 are happy...

why do people make things so complicated...

i read somewhere.?you can soak the 02 sensors to make them work again..cant remember what the stuff is called that you soak it in....
ive never done it..

Just out of curiosity, why 1 and 7? I know they are on far ends of the block, but on the same bank? Good info though - thanks.

I think he is pulling the 2 easiest plugs(for him)

that would be 2 and 8 for me. Just finished installing my Summit ( "Innovate") W/B A/F system and calibrated it. I will run the car as it is and get some A/F numbers - idle, cruise, WOT. Wanna hook up my camera first.
