A cam with around 220>225 @ .050 on 110>112 lobe seperation installed 2 to 4 degrees advanced will give a nice stong vaccum signal to the carbs enhancing tuning and also make plenty of vaccum to operate the power brakes.Oh and it wont burn your eyes out as much as a tight lobe cam!



I understand what your saying. It's not about rich or lean carbs its about high hydrocarbons . That's what burns your eyes. And yes engine with big aggressive cams will do that.
