I am trying to avoid cutting the tunnel or torsion bar cross member, so the 518/618 option isn't really what I am looking for.
somehow i put mine in the old 64 with out cutting the floor---but i did put in a few dents that arent noticable----i spent 3-4 hours making a brace for tranny but then i had to take the transmission back out while i worked on it--and yes the 727/904 is strong enough---TCI didnt get into the business for a clown putting a 904 behind a 361----they did it for the big time Hemi racers that want more power to the tires--so yes it will hold up to 1000 hp and more----bob
