mark, here is a pic of where that chassis tube goes. i've been looking at bumpstops, but for some reason the ones i've seen that i think i want don't show the size specs [hint,hint prothane......]. it appears they are approximately 1 1/2" dia. x approximately 1/2- 3/4 thick[?] with a couple of center bolt bushings that appear to be for 3/8" bolts. ron, you got a terrific deal on that glass lid ! you could probably re-fit that with out too much difficulty by adding a small strip in the center.
