Another thing I read was the opinion of someone else regarding the piston dust boots...Oz mentioned this a little while back.

I guess where the problem comes with scoring is when actually changing the pads and compressing the pistons with them dirty.
That all that would have to be done before that is hit them with some brake cleaner to get the dirt off the pistons and this wouldnt be an issue.

What are the thoughts on that? Why do they make so many of these aftermarket calipers without the dust boots? A lot of them seem to be upgrade kits for muscle cars on the street...thoughts?
