Varify TDC with piston stop & zero degree wheel ,turn motor over & zero dial indicator when #1 intake lifter is on base circle of lobe , continue to rotate motor & stop when dial indicator measures .050" lift , if you shoot past just back the crank up (.100") , read degree wheel which should show valve event @ 19.5* before top dead centre , continue to turn the motor & read off degree wheel @ full lift (103.5* ATDC)) , continue to turn motor & read off degree wheel when lifter is .050" before seated (46.5* ABDC) , if all works out you're good to go.
