Man, some of you guys are real candy azzes when it comes to your definition of a street car. Don't you remember that you could go to the dealer, plunk down your money and buy a high compression, solid lifter cammed, no air, no power steering, no power brakes and radio delete car from any of the big three. They sat on showroom floors and were everyday cars. So by some of you guys definitions, the very cars you hail as the "greatest street cars" of all times, don't even fit in your own definition of what a street car is.

As far as being reliable and going "X" amount of miles with no incident, the trans just went out in my Lincoln LS, during a 200 mile trip. Don't guess it's a street car. I have pretty much concluded that most guys, think anything faster than THEIR street car, can't be a "real" street car.

As far as wipers, I use Rain-X on the above mentioned Lincoln, the wipers have not even been turned on in over a year and it has rained here everyday for about 6 weeks, it seems.
