Yep,. I was looking into building another building. I asked a couple of contractors about permits and inspections. They said nope. Only inside the city limits which I am not.

Pastor of our church carries full time. When we moved here He told us to just assume that everyone carries.

And yes everyone is friendly.

It is very Republican here. They got almost 80% of the votes around here. I think I saw 2 Biden signs. If you are a Dem you might be happier in Virginia or North Carolina.
