I had been clipping along with no issues until I started into traffic on the north side of OKC, by this time the sun was up, and the temp was rapidly rising, so once I started running behind other cars, the water temp gauge started to creep up above 210. The traffic was moving along at 45-55, but was pretty thick, after about six miles, the temp climbed above 230, so I hit the shoulder, to let it cool off. Andy Bashford drove by in his 69 Plum Crazy Charger, and gave me a toot of the horn, I gave him a thumbs up to let him know I was OK, and he waved as he continued on to the track.
