Regarding the fairly stock HP 440 in my '71 GTX.

Its got 1 7/8 headers, 3:55, flat top pistons with valve reliefs, Eddy 750 carb, slightly lumpy idle (I dont know what the cam is), 346 heads. 300 rwhp

I'd like more oomph, dont care (much) about top end.

I saw an ad that said $2k for complete heads, cam intake, etc. (maybe an Edlebrock package). Would one of those packages widen my eyes or should I just live with what I got?

BTW - I'd have to spray all the aluminum orange (collector status) and use a low rise manifold to clear Air Grabber, a Performer wont even clear it.
